school About Our Centre
Edugild is MIT India's Innovation & Incubation Centre — a platform that funds, mentors and incubates student-built startups from anywhere in India.
Our mission is to empower student founders across India through funding, mentorship and incubation — turning early ideas into fundable ventures with real support, not permission slips. Edugild brings capital, expert mentors, workspace and go-to-market playbooks into one platform so students can validate problems, build pilots and raise with confidence. From the first pitch to a registered startup, we stay founder-first and execution-led.
Our vision is that every student in India with a credible idea has a clear path to build, validate and launch — regardless of which campus they come from. We aim to close the gap between ambition and access by connecting learners to MIT India's innovation network, industry partners and investor pathways. In the long run, Edugild seeks to become India's most trusted student startup engine, where ideas from any college can grow into scalable companies.
We value openness, founder-first support, and execution over polish. We fund at the idea stage and judge clarity of the problem and founder fit — not how finished a demo looks. Integrity, collaboration and learning by building guide every program, mentor match and competition we run. Students from any Indian college are welcome; our institutions provide labs, faculty and infrastructure so founders can move faster with less friction.
